Overview

The Eastcoast Visitor Adapter, integrates with the Visitors Service. The adapter connects to the MS SQL database at the customers premises. The database is part of the customers visitors system. A query is done every minute during office hours. Non officehours the query frequency is lower. If a a new visitor is found, it will update it’s own database as well as create a request to Visitors system.

Visitors in the customer system may have been pre-entered into the system, or they may sign-in when they are at the reception.

The lambda may raise and AdapterConnectionLost event, which is a type of SystemIssue event.

The EastCoast adapter consists of Eventhandler and an this scheduled trigger lambda.
