Short Description
AWS SES is used to send e-mail or SMS from PAL to external services or users.
Description
AWS SES are used by the AWS Cognito service to send out information. It is also used by PAL and external services to distribute information. In order to send there needs to be a IAM user configured, either with accesskey and secret access key, or with accesskey and a sig4 password.
PAL may use the API for AWS SES in order to send notifications using SMTP or SMS. There is currently not an PAL API implemented for that.
Delivery and Bounces are configured to send a notifcation to any subscripter of the topics created in AWS SNS.
